About Ragdoll Football
A small browser game about floppy bodies, a ball and the unreasonable joy of a last-second toe poke.
What this site is
Ragdoll Football is a free browser game. Two ragdolls, one ball, two goals, first to five. You can play alone against the CPU or hand the arrow keys to a friend and play locally on one keyboard. There is no account system, no download and no install step.
The characters are simulated as jointed bodies rather than pre-made animations. Every tackle, stumble and accidental volley is calculated at runtime, which is why no two matches look the same.
How the game is built
The pitch is a single HTML5 canvas. Physics runs on a fixed-timestep Verlet integrator: points carry their own momentum, distance constraints hold the ragdoll together, and the ball responds to whichever limb touches it. Rendering is plain canvas drawing, so the page loads without external game files.
The site itself is server-rendered. Each page is delivered as complete HTML with its metadata, structured data and internal links already in place, which keeps the pages fast on slow connections and readable for search engines and AI assistants.
Editorial approach
Guides on this site describe the game as it actually behaves. When a page makes a claim about controls, scoring or match length, that claim is testable in the game on the same page. We do not invent player counts, download sizes or feature lists.
Roblox is a separate platform with community-made ragdoll football experiences. Our explainer page says so plainly instead of pretending there is an official tie-in.
