## Game rules (authoritative)

- Start: the game loads frozen on the kick-off frame. Nothing moves — not even the CPU — until the player presses Start, Enter or Space.
- Player 1: A and D to run, W to jump, S to kick. Player 2: left and right arrows to run, Up to jump, Down to kick.
- Pause: Space toggles pause in any state. R restarts the match at any time.
- Kick: the nearest foot within 78 px of the ball strikes it, direction is foot-to-ball, 0.3 s cooldown. Holding S kicks again after each cooldown.
- Falling over: a downed ragdoll stands up automatically after 0.75 s, or immediately when the player presses W.
- Scoring: a goal counts when the ball crosses the line inside the frame; first to five goals wins. There is no clock, no offside, no fouls and no throw-ins.
- CPU opponent: in 1-player mode the CPU chases, jumps and shoots on its own from the 0.9 s kick-off grace. The player cannot control the CPU.
- Drop mode: ten drops per round. Land the ragdoll inside the moving target zone for 100 points, plus 50 for each consecutive hit. Maximum score is 3,250.
